The owners of Rocket Dynamic Systems and Maximum Thrust Rocketry, Dan and Laurie Isdell, are always happy to help you choose the best components or kit for your needs, and to customize any kit to your specifications.

With the introduction of this web site, we have completely integrated the Maximum Thrust Rocketry line, acquired in 2000, into the RDS line. The MTR rockets are a perfect complement to the RDS line and form the Level III component of our product lineup. We can supply kits ranging from mid-power through Level III High Power Rocketry and beyond.

Many of our kits span certification levels, so you can start with your current certification level and push the envelope to the next level with a larger motor.

We will continue to offer the same high quality and performance that you have come to know from both RDS and MTR. All of the kits offered from both companies are now available from this unified web site. We look forward to providing you with a level of personalized attention not often found over the internet. We are happy to customize any kit, and to help you meet your individual needs and goals in this exciting hobby.

As many of you know, we have had some limitations such as not being able to get out to launches over the past 3 years due to Laurie's fight against cancer. For more information and for news about Laurie, please see the About RDS page. Our stock on the largest kits is still limited but we are working on getting back up to full speed. We are currently stocking all of the kits and components through 7.5" and we are taking orders on an individual basis for the 9.25" through 16" kits and parts.
